The Orange County ABC project consisted of designing and constructing a new, 14,250-square-foot warehouse building behind an existing office building. The warehouse acts as a storage and central distribution center for all Orange County ABC locations. Summit’s Architecture branch designed the warehouse to fit LEED certification standards.
Along with designing the warehouse, Summit’s Architecture branch performed an interior upfit of the existing office building to resemble a bourbon distillery. Repurposed wood flooring from an actual bourbon distillery was used in the lobby. Summit also retrofitted office spaces as part of this interior upfit. Summit also performed land development, geotechnical engineering, subsurface investigations, construction materials testing and special inspection services on this project.
