HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. - Summit Design and Engineering Services has revolutionized by implementing a new company name, logo, tagline, website, domain name and presences on various social media platforms, enabling Summit to stay ahead of the game in not only the digital world, but real life as well.

Summit Design and Engineering Services, previously known as Summit Consulting, primarily focused on offering engineering, architecture and surveying services. In 2011, Summit diverged to offer landscape architecture services in support of its growing architecture branch, prompting this revolutionary rebranding.

Summit utilized Comma, a Hillsborough-based marketing firm, to develop the brand, which included a new website and domain name. Working collaboratively with Summit, Comma incorporated the new company name, innovative logo and crisp tagline, "creatively inspired - technically executed."

Along with Summit's new company name and logo, the "" domain name was transformed into "" to better reflect our expanded repertoire of design and engineering capabilities.

After a year of brainstorming, generating content and contributing to an extensive review/approval process, Summit is pleased to announce the launch of its new website. Users will find it more interactive, visually appealing and informative than our old website.

Summit created Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts to socially connect with clients, employees and other constituents. Essential information, such as job openings and company news, will be promoted with social media, driving traffic to the new website.

"We recognize the great potential social media has to firms like Summit," said James W. Parker, the firm's president. "By proactively joining the social media frenzy, we will be prepared to revolutionize even further."

In addition to expanding in the digital world, Summit recently added a Raleigh, N.C., location to complement its offices in Hillsborough and Roxboro, N.C.; Nashville, Tenn.; and South Hill, Va.
