The Veterans Leadership Council – Cares of North Carolina, known as VLCNC – Cares, hired Summit Design and Engineering Services to generate architectural renderings for a new building. North Carolina is home to over 800,000 veterans, 6,000 of which are homeless. The VLCNC – Cares, a veteran-owned non-profit corporation, seeks to help those homeless veterans and successfully reintegrate veterans into the community. To learn more about VLCNC – Cares, visit

The architectural rendering shown is the future VLCNC – Cares Building 71, which will be located in Butner, N.C. Summit’s Architecture Service Manager, Brian Shepard, drew the rendering and serves as the project manager and design architect.
