Christian Berg (Chris) is registered as a professional engineer in North Carolina and several other states. As GKC’s former president, Berg has been with the firm for 24 years and has immense experience in designing building structures.

“We are excited about becoming a part of a dynamic firm like Summit as we expand on GKC’s 35-year history,” said Berg. “We are looking forward to offering new services to our client base and introducing them to Summit’s client-centered design philosophy.”

Summit has not only increased its arsenal of capabilities with this acquisition; it has also expanded geographically with the addition of a Durham office. Summit’s locations now span two states (North Carolina and Virginia) and three counties in North Carolina (Wake, Durham and Orange).
