RALEIGH, N.C. – Summit Design and Engineering Services, PLLC was named one of the 50 fastest-growing private companies in the Triangle by the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ)! According to the TBJ, “Fast 50 winners were selected based on a formula that counts revenue growth and profitability in the preceding three years (2011-2013).” From 2011 to 2013, Summit’s revenue grew over 36 percent, and employees increased from 59 to 95. Currently, Summit has 115 employees.

TBJ’s Fast 50 pools from all private companies in the Triangle. It is not industry specific. Only two architecture/engineering firms made this year’s list.

Rankings will be announced at the 2014 Fast 50 Awards dinner on Tuesday, November 18 at the Raleigh Convention Center. The awards will be presented in a countdown format, working from No. 50 all the way to the fastest-growing private company in the Triangle. “I want to congratulate each and every one of you, as being named in the (Triangle) Business Journal’s 2014 Fast 50 is not exclusively Summit’s accomplishment, it is your own,” Jim Parker, Summit’s President, addressed employees. “Summit wouldn’t be where it is today without the dedication and commitment each of you put forth every day. It just goes to show, good people make a good business.”
