Summit hires experienced architect, expanding its Architecture Branch and growing Raleigh office

RALEIGH, N.C. –Jenessa Van Deen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C joins Summit Design and Engineering Services’ Architecture Branch, supplementing our architecture capabilities and expanding our Raleigh office. Behind our corporate location, Summit’s Raleigh operations is our largest office.

With seven years of diverse architecture, construction documentation and project management experience, Mrs. Van Deen works with our Architecture Branch Manager and CAD designers on all architecture projects.

“Jenessa is an integral addition to our fast growing, dynamic department. Her role will be to creatively facilitate and manage projects from the inception of design through the completion of the construction documents,” said Brian Shepard, Architecture Branch Manager. “We are excited about her joining our collaborative team and fostering the growth of our department.”Jenessa.jpgPrior to joining Summit, Ms. Van Deen previously worked for an architecture firm in Fargo, N.D. She worked her way up from intern to assistant project manager to project manager (which she performed as for two years). In this capacity, Ms. Van Deen managed a variety of projects from new construction to remodels and additions, starting with the programming phase and carried through construction administration.
